Busy days

Hello dears
- at first---thank you for your lovely comments on my previous posts. Also, I want to thank all of you lovelies for reading and taking a bit of an interest in this little blog
Unfortunately, I'm terribly busy at the moment and therefore the next "real" entry will be delayed for another week(?)...*sob*
Sorry dears, please be patient with me
Anyways, I'd like to give you a tiny sneak peek of the upcoming post. Lately I got inspired by some cute fellow bloggers to write a bit more about my private life & profession...
The following pic shows a typical part of my working environment in Tokyo:

...
That's all for today. I wish you all some wonderful last august days! Stay tuned

Mini snack review ~ mini calpis

~ regular series ~

pic source: superkid.co.jp
Hi dears, how are you doing?
As some of you might already know, "Calpis" is a very popular, yoghurt-flavored softdrink. It's very refreshing, especially during summer and available in many flavors like classic yoghurt, grape, mango, green tea, banana, pineapple, melon, lemon, peach, guava, orange ... ...

During a trip to Tochigi, I found this cute box of 3 mini-cartons of strawberry calpis.

Each carton contains 120 ml of calpis syrup. It's very easy to prepare: just mix 5 parts cold water, soda or milk with 1 part syrup.

no fresh strawberries at home, so I decorated
 with a jellybaby >ω<'
Actually, I've only had readily blended calpis soda drinks before but the retro syrup version is very yummy as well- it tastes like sweet strawberries and vanilla.
If you have the chance to get "Calpis tochi otome", be sure to give it a try

Summerly thoughts

Hello lovelies, I hope you are having a nice summer  To be honest, this isn't my favorite season in Japan- I can't get used to the day long humid heat and I sunburn very easily.
That's why I've developed my own strategies to "survive" summer in Japan, like enjoying lots of summerly snacks and seeking refuge in air-conditioned shops, whenever it gets too hot outside.
Needless to say, drug store visits rank high - one has to stock on anti-frizz hair products, sunscreen and waterproof make up, right?
Anyways, here are some recent pics:

Why has the Japanese package design to be so cute? I always get tempted to buy stuff I don't really need >.<'

Kawaii enamel bottles - I couldn't decide on the color though

Recommended summer hair care in Japan: straight water & hair relaxer ( obviously couldn't avoid the "gacha-pon"-machines again. chibi love❤).

Tiny ice cream parlor, located in Ikebukuro. It is always very crowed, so you may have to sit in front of the storeroom.
- But nevermind, it's air conditioned...*fhu*...
